In previous blogs we have discussed the benefits of drinking water. So many people spend their days in a state of mild dehydration as they consume far fewer fluids than they should. Water comprises of approximately 60% of our body. It’s basic for survival.Skin is intricately tied to the overall health of your body. When your body is properly hydrated, you’ll look better and feel better.Adequate water rewards you with such benefits as…

• Enhanced health
• Increased energy
• Bright, clear eyes
• A radiant complexion
• Bloating and puffiness often disappear.
• Carries nutrients to every cell in your body

How much should you drink?
Most clinics suggest 8 glasses, 8 ounces each, of fluid daily. Although you may need even more!!! When Exercising and during hot weather we should increase our water input.

Is water best?
Consuming lots of fresh fruits and vegetables for healthy skin will satisfy some of your body’s fluid requirement. A bonus is they are loaded with anti-aging anti-oxidants! Count milk, juice, and other healthy beverages as part of your daily total. Try diluting fruit juice with sparkling water for a tasty drink with fewer calories. Relax with a soothing cup of herbal tea. Just make sure that most of your daily fluid is water!!

Realistic expectations…
There are numerous health benefits of drinking water. For your skin and your general well-being, water is critical. People’s complexion and energy levels are happy improved when they pay attention to their fluid intake.
Everyone will not agree that water consumption will improve skin… but it certainly can’t hurt. Many people often report that by increasing their water intake, their skin has a more radiant glow. Those who suffer from acne have reported the same results. Nothing will happen overnight, but even a good couple of weeks of increasing water intake should be enough for you to see how hydration affects your own skin.
It’s not a cure all, however. Water will not eliminate dry skin if the cause is inadequate oil.
Miraculous limits aside, water is the ideal liquid refreshment. Reap the benefits of drinking water for your skin. You’ll have a healthier body and a healthier you!
